Fog, Bridges and Sunday drivers.

Coos Bay to Astoria.

Another day where you have to pinch yourself.
The coast line in Oregon is breath takingly beautiful.
Unfortunately no Photos support this statement because of fog that prevents  good photos. We could however catch enough glimpses to realize what a stunning place it is.

The road was great, the only issue keeping your eyes on it.

The area is dotted with mostly small settlements where you can potter around, go to the market, buy something useless or have lunch.

An interesting aspect where several bridges of various styles. Fun to ride over.

The sun decided to come out at about mid day. The temperature was a comfy 70 degrees but had been down around 60.

The scenery became not unlike the west coast of the South Island at times. We stopped for a quick lunch at a huge hanger aircraft museum.  Then the cameras battery went dead. Bugger

Oh well a good day, and tomorrow an early start as its off to Canada and we have a ferry to catch four hours up the line. 6am and we are off!!!!!!!

We here is gone all wintry at home. Hope you are all keeping warm.
