Lillooet to Jasper

Another early start for another long ride (382 miles) through more amazing scenery. I will let the pictures do the talking.

A cool start but it warmed up to a comfortable temperature.  We spent the first part of the day riding alone but caught up with a group at one of our frequent petrol stops.  We had been warned gas stations could be scarce and to keep the tank topped up.
Lunch was at a authentic biker bar were Gerry had a close encounter with some of the local wild life and we both enjoyed excellent burgers.

The road was fast sweepers, the traffic fair thunders along. We where travelling at 20kmh over the posted limits to keep up but still a lot of traffic roared past us. The landscape had opened up and became more ranch like.

We hit a few showers but the day just kept on getting better. As we got closer to Jasper the "National Park" feel grew as did the proximity of magnificent mountains and vistas. We saw many beware of the Bear, Moose and Deer signs, but no actual critters.
